In a bizarre crossover event that challenges usual forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Adventure Revealed

According to the official statement, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where rumors of forbidden rituals and fearsome transformations echo through the obscurity." The plot features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret group.

The adventure centers on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Transformations

The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the captive, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Additional Features

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to multiple objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
